charity: water

“663 million people in the world live without clean water”.

That’s the statement we saw when we first came across this project.

That’s almost 1 out of 10 globally. Or, two times the population of the USA. The majority live in rural areas and spend hours every day walking on foot to collect water for their family. The long walks keep children out of school and their parents out of work, and the water is often polluted and filled with bacteria that can make people and animals sick.

Access to clean water means education, better income, and better health – especially for women and children.

PowerMedic is a sustaining donor of charity: water because of the great impact it makes for a lot of people around the world.
