Bouchra Lundgren Eriksen

Bouchra was born and raised in Agadir, Morocco. For the past 15 years, she’s been living in Denmark with her family, and runs for the Danish Ultra Marathon Team under the Danish Athletics Federation.

Bouchra is among the 10 fastest marathon runners in Denmark. In addition to being an ultra runner, she’s also an extreme runner, and her list of amazing accomplishments, and personal and professional records, is long.

Among other things, Bouchra came in second in the 250 km desert race ‘Marathon des Sables’ in 2019. The race is done in 6 days and is considered the hardest foot race on Earth.

2019 was also the year Bouchra became Nordic Champion in a 6-hour race in Finland, representing the Ultra Marathon Team.

In 2020, despite the challenges and restrictions due to Covid-19, Bouchra became Danish Champion of a 100 km race in Viborg, Denmark.

Currently, her goals include the Utra Mirage race in the Tunisian Sahara desert in 2021 and the 50 km World Championship in Taiwan.
